A BASIC SYSTEM OF 3060 WATTS REQUIRES 18 SOLAR PANELS AND CAN BE INSTALLED IN ABOUT 300 SQUARE FEET. This is a great way to install a PV system on a leased building or even on the ground or over an impervious surface.  The system is completely portable and can be removed or relocated if change is needed.  It is not necessary to install a new roof prior to installing this arrangement.  The labor required to move it out of the way for future roofing is minimal and is not high tech.  Any electrician can handle the details easily.   Depreciation makes the deal even sweeter.
